It's not over. Chat control... Again !

Share

Some people just can’t take a no as a response.

The european parliament already voted on the 26 Mars 2026 against this wicked proposal, nevertheless Cyprus thought it might be a good idea to make a summer revival of chat control 1.0 even though nobody asked for it just like the terrible Scary Movie.

This is an unprecedented attack to our democracy that is trying to take advantadge of a legal gap to circumvent the Parliament’s March vote.

If you still believe we are all entitled to have a little privacy online and not be at the mercy of an automatic AI detection system to “protect the children” please be vocal about it with your country’s MEP.

I found this website that makes it easy to have a full picture of who is actually supporting this regulation and how to get in touch with the MEP :

fightchatcontrol.eu

For the moment only Italy is strongly against the proposal (love my country sometimes). So yea do something.
